3 MONTHS!!!

Oh ya and Macy was 3 months old yesterday!! I'm a little late on getting her shots done because we have been so busy so they are booked for Wednesday so wish me luck!

So last week there was one nice day before all the rainy ones, so we went for a walk, and since the area that we live in is just getting developed, Chaparral is right across the street so we went and walked around there, and in Chaparral there is a lake but only people that live in chaparral are allowed access the lake...which is a total bummer because it looks so nice in there. I came home and told Trav we were moving and buying a house in Chaparral so that I could go to the lake whenever I wanted....he just laughed. You are allowed to go with someone that does have a card though so that is a bonus! But as I was walking around it there is this huge gate so that no one can enter unless through the main entrance, it made me feel like this little kid sitting outside an ice cream shop just hoping his mom would buy him a treat...haha. One day I will go in there!
Trav has been working alot lately which is good because we thought that when his company was bought out that they would be laying people off and Trav was one of the last employees hired, so we were a little worried...so I guess I can't complain too much about him being gone he still has a job and is able to provide for our family. But since he is gone so much as soon as he gets home he wants to play with Macy, and it doesn't matter if she is sleeping or not he will wake her up. The other day Trav got home around 2:30 a.m. and then had to be up a 6:30 to get ready to go to work again and I had just finished feeding Macy around 6, so by the time he had showered and got dressed she was back asleep but he wanted to see her so he picks her up and tries waking her...and she starts screaming he looks and me and says SORRY! puts her on the bed and leaves! It took me a good 30 min to calm her down. It wouldn't of been such a big deal but she didn't good at all that night so I was so tired.
And the last 2 weeks I got to watch this cute boy!!! It was fun but definately made me realize that I do not want 2 kids that close in age.

So Macy is finally wearing 3 month clothes....they are big on her but I wanted to pack away the newborn clothes because she has soo many 3 month ones and they are just so cute...so far here are some of the new outfits....

Update

Well im sick of this weather, I thought having a baby in April would mean that I could go for walks during the day and enjoy the hot weather....well i haven't even had a chance to go out on a walk yet. Luckily there are malls around so I can get out of the house. Time is flying by Macy will be 8 weeks old on saturday, I still cant get over how fast time is going, she has started to smile and its just so cute. I just want to hold her all day long, but have to tell myself to put her down because I don't want a baby that has to be held all the time, because I wouldnt be able to get anything done.
Brett gets home from his mission in just 11 DAYS!!! I think im more excited to count down to this then the count down for Macy to come...haha. Well heres some new pictures.

Lately...

So life has been kinda busy lately. For the long weekend we went down to Cardston and stayed down there for a week, because Travis had already had the week booked off for Macy to be born. So we just hung out and didn't to do much lovely southern alberta the wind blew every day! When we were getting ready to head down I had Travis pack up the stroller because I planned on going for a walk every day...well that didn't happen because of the wind. I did get to tie a quilt with my mom and I decided that im going to stick to making baby quilts...making one for a queen size bed is just way to big and took too long. I was glad to come back home and settle down. Since Macy was born it just seems like we have been on the go a lot. So last Wednesday I woke up around 5 with this horrible pain in my left side..not sure what was going on I phoned my mom around 6 and she said it sounded like a kidney stone, Travis had already left for work so I pack up Macy and head to the hospital...yep thats what I had luckily the doctor wasn't going to send me home to try and pass it because I had the baby to take care of, luckily I have an awesome friend were I used to work that came and watched Macy while I had surgery...Oh ya by the way Travis didn't even know I was in the hospital let alone having surgery, he was working out of town and didnt have cell service. He was pretty shocked when I finally got ahold of him. I do think that that pain is pretty close to labour pain, my mom came when I told her I was going into surgery so she was there when I got out. and then she came back up on friday with my dad so I had her help me finish decorating the house, I'll post a picture of Macy's room the other ones will have to wait till i get time to clean. She is growing good last monday she weighed 7lb 9 oz. and is almost 6 weeks old. Its crazy how fast time is going but im enjoying every minute.

Ok, so my mom set this up for me when she was here the week after the Macy was born, and now people keep asking for more pictures. I'm not sure how often i'm going to do this but here is a start.
